We are living in unprecedented times. We’ve absolutely not seen anything like this before — and not many will wish to see it ever again.

In the first phase of Covid-19, I wrote this eBook. I am sharing it here for my blog readers

Remember, unprecedented times demand unprecedented actions — and few back-to-basics

as well.

I hope and pray that it helps.

  1. You may have to work for less; but doing it with a smile will make it better. Trust me.
  2. Volunteer to do more. It allows you to learn more and be more.
  3. Take better than usual care of yourself and encourage others to do the same — physical well-being significantly impacts mental well-being and response to stress.
  4. Get over with “good old days” — nostalgia is self-destructive and will do no good. Consume your mental energies in imagining a better future and work for it.
  5. Tell yourself that “this too shall pass,” but then remind yourself that it might not pass anytime soon; and so, rededicate yourself to making the absolute best of what you have now.
  6. Stay in touch with customers. Stay in touch with colleagues. Stay in touch with vendors. Stay in touch with friends. Stay in touch with relatives. Stay in touch!
  7. Find ways to be around positive people — they are less likely to be members of the “sky is falling” club.
  8. Invest in your skills. Learn something new every week. Something every day!
  9. Remind yourself, daily, that this is your exam for Courage, Competence, Character, Grace — and your Faith.
  10. Network like a demon. Get to know more folks.
  11. Celebrate small wins.
  12. Absolutely avoid negative people as much as you can. Remember, pollution kills.
  13. Use J.R.T. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMkFd2j5xQc
  14. Mind your manners — and forgive others for their manners. They might not be as cool as you in dealing with it.
  15. Be kind. Kindness gives you supernatural strength.
  16. Be an icon of personal responsibility and accountability.
  17. Pray.

Feel free to share it with others…
