Born Salesperson Decoded

Here is the secret. There is nothing such as a born salesperson.

Yes. Nothing.

But then, I am sure you’ve heard about people who are instinctively and passionately involved in sales.

Born salesperson is a fictious character that was created by lazy, lethargic, and laggard salesperson. This character of born salesperson evolved as an excuse of not putting the hustle, the hard work, the effort of making things happen.

In reality (as I see it), those who we refer to as born salesperson are the ones who empathize more, learn the art of charisma, invest time in loving the product, choose to work hard and do meaningful work.

This is repeatable and scalable way to brand yourself as born salesperson… here is what it takes:

  • Show up
  • Show up
  • Show up
  • Care for people
  • Care for product
  • Care for yourself
  • Learn new skill
  • And a new one…
  • Replace excuses with hustle

We are fortunate enough to live in these times of massive leverage. An era where learning is accessible like never before. Invest 20–40 minutes daily in learning something new about the art and science of selling. It takes a while, but it’s learnable for sure.

Here are few people to follow for sure:

Zig Ziglar, Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Dan Pink, Brian Tracy, etc.
