What are Self-Censored Questions?
Before we make a decision — to pursue a dream or an ambition, some of the questions we silently fight with, even if we don’t verbalize them to ourselves.
- Will this make me feel stupid?
- What will I tell my friends?
- Does it help my family?
- Does it raise my status?
- Will this help me be part of a society I care about?
- Would my parents be proud of me?
- Is there a shortcut?
- Is it safe?
- Is it worth it?
- How will I feel if I fail?
- Is it forbidden?
- Is this good for me right now?
The quality of our lives or the script of our stories will be determined by how well we tackle these questions.
