You can either be… or …!

You have a choice. To be angry or be curious.

I learned it from Seth Godin — but when I reflected on it… I was struck so deeply about it.

It’s true in everything. It’s true in…

  • business
  • friendship
  • relationships
  • innovation
  • problem solving
  • parenting

And if we try to be both… wait… we can just not be curious and angry at the same time.

Curiosity is generous. It’s empathatic. It’s willingness to learn. It’s openess to ones’ own mistakes.

Angry is stupid. It’s reactive. It hardly leads to any positive conclusion.

Make the choice carefully.

Curious — and you can do wonders.

Angry — and I pray for lesser damage to you.
